Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading medical facility in Manteca, CA, to find an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Manager for their Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a key leadership role responsible for assisting the Director in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of these critical departments, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Assist the Director in providing leadership to the Emergency and Intensive Care Services Departments, focusing on clinical excellence, financial responsibility, and human resource management.
• Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes through evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement strategies.
• Staff Development: Mentor and empower your team through ongoing education, training, and performance feedback.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective unit operations, managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Patient Advocacy: Champion patient-centered care and advocate for the needs of both patients and staff.
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with physicians, other departments, and hospital leadership to promote seamless care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • 1-2 years of managerial experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active California Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire.
