Responsibilities:
· Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice.
· Assess patients' conditions and implement evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to the rural healthcare landscape.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient care activities.
· Administer medications and treatments with precision and efficiency, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
· Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatment, adapting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
· Educate patients and their families on disease management strategies, preventive healthcare measures, and community resources.
· Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring continuity of care throughout the healthcare journey.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and documentation standards.
· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts to enhance the delivery of care in rural settings.

Qualifications:
· Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state.
· BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
· Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in acute care settings; experience in rural healthcare considered a plus.
· Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in challenging situations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
· Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs and resources of rural communities, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in delivering care.
· Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis, embracing the opportunity to explore new destinations and make a difference in diverse communities.
