Department: CTRC Inpatient
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Research Nurse - UCHealth/ CCTSI
The nursing staff implements NIH and Industry clinical trials involving human populations (disease specific and healthy controls) in a dedicated research environment within an Academic Medical Center
Research protocols span all disciplines and departments

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ADDITIONAL POSITION LEVEL CREDENTIAL INFORMATION: ACLS within 1 year of hire:
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire

Research Nurse - UCHealth/ CCTSI
The nursing staff implements NIH and Industry clinical trials involving human populations (disease specific and healthy controls) in a dedicated research environment within an Academic Medical Center
Research protocols span all disciplines and departments
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Vital signs and anthropometrics assessments
- Patient observation including frequent monitoring and real time data collection
- Drug administration (Oral, IV, SQ, IM, infusion therapy)
- IV insertion, phlebotomy, and timed blood sampling, plus ECG
- Assistance with complex research procedures including bronchoscopies, right heart catheters, intravenous cell collections, insulin clamps and allergy testing

Acute Care:
- Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity
- AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence based care models for each unit
