Department/Unit Summary

Our CV/ICU unit is comprised of 10-11 beds with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work environment. In this role you will be able to demonstrate your competency in Hemodynamic monitoring, maintenance of epicardial pacemakers, central line management, chest tube management, ventilator management, ECG interpretation, interpret and manage lab results and ABG results. To ensure that patients’ needs are met you will be working side-by-side with our Multi Care Technicians.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associate’s degree required
• Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) required on hire
• Basic Life Support Certification is required on hire
• ACLS required upon hire, BLS is not required if employee has current ACLS 
• TNCC Certification within 6 months of hire
• 1 year ICU experience preferred
