Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the RN: Director of Clinical Documentation Reimbursement:
- Operational Management: Oversee the operations and strategic planning of the Clinical Documentation and Reimbursement (CDR) and Health Information Management (HIM) Departments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
- Collaboration: Work with other department heads to use clinical documentation for high-quality care.
- Strategic Planning: Lead planning related to Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and Managed Care Case Management.
- Education and Training: Implement education plans for MDS updates, payment reforms, and quality measure changes.
- Data Analysis and Auditing: Analyze and track MDS data, conduct audits to ensure compliance with NYS DOH standards.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred.
- Licensing: NYS RN License required.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with the RAI process and SNF reimbursement. Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations is essential.
- Certifications: New York State approved PRI assessor program completion and RAC-CT certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical and project management skills. Proficient with data extraction, SNF quality metrics, and compliance with Federal and State regulations.
