Troy Regional is seeking applicants for the Registered Nurse position in our Emergency Department. This is a Internal Contract position for Night Shift. Sign-On Bonus is available!
The ED Registered Nurse Provide safe and effective nursing care to all Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse may direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the patient assessment and reassessment through data collection and systems evaluation, patient and family education through the implementation of a teaching plan, nursing intervention through documentation of a patient's responses to nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures, As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will communicate patient status continuously throughout assigned patient care.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Current Alabama Registered Nursing License, Basic Life Support (within 30 days)ACLS and PALS by the end of the 90-day probationary period).
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of nursing experience, required. Experience in the Emergency Department is highly preferred.
