About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** ER **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Rotating Nights/Days (3x12 Hours) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 1 year of experience, open to first-time travelers **License:** Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission **Certifications:** Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions **Must-Have:** 2 satisfactory professional references from most recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN) **Job Description:** - ER Rotating Nights/Days (3x12); Self Scheduling, On Call - Weekend Required - Comfortable floating within the hospital with no restrictions or special requests, provided it is within the scope of experience - Travelers are the first to float within hospital assignments - Compliance documentation deadline is 5 days prior to the start date - Request for Time Off (RTO) must be included at the time of initial submission; cannot be changed or added once offered - RTO should not exceed 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week will be added to the back end of the contract for new contracts - Most locations and units may allow for one major holiday off during the winter season; refer to the individual job posting for more specifics - Local candidates under 50 miles are highly discouraged and will be considered last - Orientation: 24 hours of non-billable hours - Notes for return travelers and former staff: candidates must be away for at least 6 months, and former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler
