About The Position
**Job Title:** Emergency Room Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Nursing - Emergency Room **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not Specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience required **License:** RN License required **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory) **Must-Have:** - Ventilation experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - COVID vaccination card **Job Description:** - Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and taking immediate action. - Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when a physician is not immediately available. - Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. - Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by a physician, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation. - Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinate activities between nursing and other professional disciplines. - Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare written assignments for individual team members, matching staff skills and abilities to patient care requirements. - Plan and develop care delivery implementation plans and coordinate care documentation. - Share responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, the general upkeep of the unit, and preserving a safe environment. - May be required to float to Med-Surg or ICU units and must work every other weekend and holidays. - Scrubs color: Red Note: Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
