Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2+ years of experience required; travel experience preferred License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications: - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Must-Have: - All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified and in hand at the time of submission - Specific charting experience required; Epic experience preferred - Background policy to be noted prior to submission, please state if there are any background hits or DUIs Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room - Respond swiftly and competently to emergency situations - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established procedures and guidelines - Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Participate in orientation with 16 hours of non-billable training - Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including vaccination requirements (COVID-19 and flu vaccine status unknown) - Adhere to travel compliance regulations including a travel requirement of 50 miles; locals accepted at a local rate - Ensure the validity and availability of required certifications and licenses - Be willing to work during one holiday as required Note: Return staff policy requires a one-year gap to return as a traveler.
