About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room Nurse **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 3 pm - 3 am, every other weekend, every other holiday **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Three to five years of Emergency Department experience preferred **License:** Current Registered Nurse License required **Certifications:** - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 60 days of hire - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS) required within six months of hire - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred **Must-Have:** Associate of Science in Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred **Job Description:** - Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or consistently apply force greater than negligible up to 10 pounds to move objects - Frequently reach to extend hands and arms in any direction - Handle tasks that involve seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands - Feel and perceive attributes of items such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by means of fingertips - Occasionally stoop by bending the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist - Kneel by bending the legs at the knee to come to rest on knee or knees - Distinguish colors in medical contexts - Utilize the electronic medical records system, Meditech - Provide holiday coverage as required
