About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Alternating 3x12-Hour Shifts (15:00 - 01:30; 19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required; must have travel and Epic experience **License:** Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC **Must-Have:** - Two satisfactory professional references from most recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN acceptable) - Willingness to float within the hospital, with no restrictions or special requests, as long as it is within the scope of experience - Flu Vaccine required, with no exemptions - Flexible with return staffing policy, must be away from the system for at least 6 months if returning **Job Description:** - Provide quality care for patients in a 46-bed Emergency Department - Attend to patient diagnoses including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, respiratory illness, and respiratory arrest - Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:4 - Adapt to high daily patient visits, averaging around 140 - Participate in a required 24-hour orientation - Must be available to complete lab requirements within the first four days after contract signing to avoid delays in orientation - Include any requested time off during initial submission, as it cannot be changed once offered - Ensures all known background information is submitted for review
