About The Position
**Job Title:** RN - Emergency Department **Job Specialty:** Emergency Department **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 19:00-07:00 (7P-7A) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 years **License:** Kansas License **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH **Must-Have:** - Experience in traveling or experience in large facility areas **Job Description:** - Work in a 52-bed Emergency Department unit with 134 staff members - Participate in both day and night shifts, each supported by a full team including charge nurse, nurses, tech, unit clerk, physician, and midlevel provider - Maintain average patient ratios of 3:1, with lower acuity at 5:1, and team nursing for pediatrics - Carry out typical procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, and sedations - Utilize equipment including Alaris and EMR systems like Meditech - Ensure patient scans and medications are handled with each interaction - Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, working effectively with a diverse and young team - Preference for candidates with TNCC and large ER experience **Additional Information:** - Opportunity to work in an environment with new equipment and technology - Benefit from the tenure and experience of a supportive team - Ideal for applicants with previous experience in large facilities, those knowledgeable in Meditech, and who can adapt to a fast pace
