Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CICU, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and advanced life support.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Critical Thinking: Utilize your advanced skills and knowledge to assess complex patient conditions, anticipate potential complications, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Technology: Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment and technology, such as ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and IV pumps.
• Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and recovery expectations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty).
• Preferred:
  • National Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or a related specialty.
