About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse I **Job Specialty:** Home Health **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday to Friday **Guaranteed Hours:** Not guaranteed **Experience:** Minimum 1 full year of adult home health experience or 1 full year of hospice experience **License:** Must have an active RN license in hand **Certifications:** CPR, BLS **Must-Have:** Proficiency in OASIS and recent experience with HomeCare HomeBase EMR **Job Description:** - Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. - Utilize the nursing process competently to ensure quality patient care. - Responsible to the Clinical Manager. - Directly supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. - Conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings. - Must possess reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. - Expected to handle an average of 5-8 patients per day. - Travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate. - Manage various cases such as start of care, wound care, and follow-up visits. - Attendance in on-call rotations may be required, depending on location. - Locals accepted at the same rate. - Use of scrubs required for dress code. - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase required, along with experience in OASIS within the last year. - Must be open to traveling and on-call rotations.
