About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse I **Job Specialty:** Home Health **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** None **Experience:** Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience **License:** Must have a valid nursing license in hand **Certifications:** CPR, BLS **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in OASIS, used within the last year - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR, used within the last year - Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and required liability insurance **Job Description:** - Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care as per physicians' orders and agency policies - Responsible to the Clinical Manager - Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses - Conduct home visits and periodic office meetings - Assigned 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points - Handle various cases including Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits - Willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate - Participate in a weekend rotation every 5-7 weeks and on-call duties when working weekends - Cover territories in designated areas - Must be open to traveling up to 75 miles from the assigned care center - Orientation required for non-billable hours *Note: Dress code is scrubs, and the contractor is expected to be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis.*
