About The Position
**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - ICU Critical Care - Nights **Job Specialty:** Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night (6:45pm-7:15am) **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Experience with direct patient care preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor/Provisional **Must-Have:** - Diploma from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process, ensuring individualized and evidence-based clinical care. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics. - Coordinate care through effective partnerships, keeping patients' goals central. - Utilize current clinical practice standards. - Facilitate inclusive interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation. - Support team recruitment and retention, demonstrating fiscal responsibility. - Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance. - Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce. - Promote evidence-based practice and participate in value analysis. - Adhere to policies, procedures, and clinical competencies. - Engage in data collection and consult appropriate resources for practice questions. - Proactively plan and participate in protocol development for optimal patient outcomes. - Ensure efficient use of resources and perform other duties as assigned. - Comply with all organizational policies and code of conduct.
