About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Float Pool **Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** NOC 11.50 Hours **Guaranteed Hours:** 37.5 or 40.25 hours per week **Experience:** - 2 years of experience in ICU specialty in the last 3 years - Experience in Level 1 Trauma - Travel nursing experience - Local NYC experience - Proficiency with EMR systems **License:** New York State RN License **Certifications:** - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for critical units **Must-Have:** - BSN degree - COVID-19 vaccination - Willingness to float to units appropriate for skill set - Two references from the most recent assignment within the skill set - Completion of experience skills checklist in required skill set **Job Description:** - Conduct Voice Advantage interview and Nurse Manager screening/interview - Work 3 or 3-4-3-4 shifts per week - No call requirement - Weekend work required every other weekend - Required to float to areas within acuity **Additional Information:** - Compliance completion typically takes 4-6 weeks - Navy scrubs with dark shoes or white scrubs with white shoes required - Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations needed, with no declinations accepted This role requires a professional with critical care experience who is adaptable and ready to provide high-quality care across various units as needed.
