ID: 51466862 Shift: 19:00-07:00 Description: Description: General CommentsHospital: Portsmouth Regional Hospital Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire Address: 333 Borthwick Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Unit Name: ICU Building: Main Campus Cost Center: 65001 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 25 bed Patient Ratios : 2:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : No LNAs or PCTs. Around the clock mid-levels, Trauma surgeons and respiratory therapist. PT/OT available during day shift Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipaps and Hiflows. Puritan ventilator, Hemospheres. Documentation system: Meditech Expanse Scheduling requirements: 12 shifts month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts Month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO Floating policy: Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first Patient Experience requirements: MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift Hospital Specifics- Certifications: o Comprehensive Stroke Center o Level 2 Trauma Center o Three Star STS Open Heart Program Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Strong Telemetry Skills Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications Chest tube experience Past ICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Open Heart experience Temporary pacing Swan-Ganz Catheter experience Procedures performed on unit: Intubation Central line and arterial line placement Chest tube placement Certifications Required: ACLS BLS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Scrubs (color doesn t matter) Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. No. of Positions: 2/2.
