Unit: Burn ICU 7H - Mercy Hospital Springfield
Specialty: ICU
Role/Title: RN
Shift: Days, 0700-1900
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Assignment Length: 16-26 weeks - must be indicated on submission form
ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
Required Experience: 1 year ICU
Preferred Experience: 1 year Burn unit
Must be willing to float when needed
MUST BE FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS

General CommentsTo ensure patient safety it is mandatory that all licensed co-workers who provide direct patient care pass a medication and math competency test before assuming medication administration responsibilities. This exam will cover knowledge of the actions and side effects of commonly used drugs along with math regarding correct dosages and IV problems.
