About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** ICU **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 years; first-time applicants accepted **License:** GA or Compact license required **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH **Must-Have:** - Ability to work with Adults to Geriatrics - Flexibility for floating within the facility - Adaptability to work holidays if required - Navy Blue scrubs **Job Description:** - Care for patients with general diagnoses such as ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT. - Be prepared for a patient ratio of 1:2-3; possibility of taking on a third patient. - Work within a unit having 24 rooms with an average daily census of 19. - Utilize systems such as Pyxis, Epic, SBAR. - Fulfill weekend and holiday work requirements as per the schedule. - Ensure full compliance to start on time; if not compliant, start date may be pushed back by two weeks. - Partake in an orientation of 13 non-billable hours. - Provide two supervisory references, preferably from a manager or higher. Candidates must be ready to complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
