Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision the Infusion RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.

What you will do in this role: 

· Perform effectively and efficiently all the procedures in the clinic areas.

· Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and storage of equipment, with inspection to assure its readiness for use (sterilized or clean).

· Make notes or dictate notes of patient’s daily progress.

· Capable of assisting in other areas of department when need arises.

· Must be proficient in operating a computer and operating specific applications such as MediTec and MOSAIQ.

· Schedule and coordinate patient appointments

· Participant in patient teaching.

· Participate in facilitating community events and support groups

What qualifications you will need:

• Current license as a registered Nurse to practice in the State of South Carolina.

• BLS – Healthcare provider. 

• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification by ONS within 3 months of date of hire.

• Prior Oncology or Infusion nursing experience required.
