Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:
· BLS and ACLS required
· Experience with moderate sedation, pre/post skills care, IV
Department/Unit Summary
A rare opportunity to join our Interventional Radiology department with a 1:1 patient ratio. Typical work hours Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm, no weekends, holidays rotated for call. Patient procedures include central lines, pericentesis, thorencitis, temp dialysis caths, declots, biopsy, cyroblasion, picc lines, and joint injections. RNs are responsible for monitoring patients after procedure, no scrubbing just medication administration and patient monitoring.
