About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years Required **License:** For DC locations, must have DC license in hand; for MD locations, must have compact license or MD license. **Certifications:** Required: BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN; Preferred: ACLS, STABLE, C-EFM through NCC **Must-Have:** - Register for C-EFM during the compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment - Experience as Charge Nurse and Preceptor - 1 prior travel assignment **Job Description:** - Provide comprehensive care in Labor and Delivery - Ability to circulate for C-section and have LDRP experience - Proven experience in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Couplet Care - Triage skills and proficiency in sterile vaginal exams preferred - Experience in a Baby Friendly hospital is highly preferred - Must be willing to float to Postpartum/Couplet care, feeder/grower assignments in SCN (Level II NICU) - On-call requirement: 2 shifts per 6 weeks - Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend - Charge and preceptor duties required - Orientation consists of 28 hours at 50% non-billable - Scrubs are provided - Must comply with flu vaccine requirements - Willingness to accept assignments without manager interviews Join a dynamic team in providing top-notch care in a Magnet Certified facility.
