About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Obstetrics (OB) **Job Duration:** 12 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour night shift **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience **License:** Active RN license in the relevant state **Certifications:** - BLS (must be AHA) - NRP - STABLE - AED **Must-Have:** - Experience with EPIC charting - Fetal monitoring skills **Job Description:** - Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice. - Utilize equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations, and bedside fetal monitors. - Attend a 3-day Meditech and OBIX training session, plus unit-specific orientation. - Complete medication testing within the first two weeks of employment. - Work 12-hour shifts; on-call as needed. - Adhere to the dress code: Scrubs provided. - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio per national standard, based on the type of labor and patient needs. - Work in a unit with 4 LDRP and 5 Nursery/Postpartum rooms.
