About the Job
Knowledge of resident care and medical conditions. Insure all physician ordered are carried out as ordered. Ability to organize tasks. Document according to facility policy. Observe any changes in resident condition, and report changes to physician. Supervise direct care staff. Assess need for treatment and administer treatments according to procedure. Achieve precision and accuracy in all aspects of resident care. Ability to work well with people, including staff, residents, families and visitors. Knowledge and practice of facility safety and infection control practices. Understanding of facility policies on abuse prevention, resident's rights and confidentiality. Ability to follow and carry out physician orders in a timely fashion.

Strength: Medium - exerting 20-50- pounds of force occasionally, or 10-20 pounds of force frequently, or negligible -10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Standing or Walking: Constantly (activity exists up to 2/3 or more of the time.)
