Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents at Iowa City Rehab and Health Center. Under new management with Campbell Street Senior Living, we are committed to creating a supportive and engaging work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitoring Health: Regularly monitor and document residents' vital signs and health status, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
• Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Education: Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, medications, and care plans.
• Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are maintained.
• Leadership: Assist in supervising and mentoring nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth.
• Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• For RNs:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa.
  • Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• For LPNs:
  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Iowa.
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
