RN/LPN Wound Care Nurse Full Time - Westport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Westport Rehab & Nursing Center is looking for a full time RN Wound Care Nurse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting wound assessment, formulation of treatment plan, and recommendation of appropriate wound dressings
• Provides patient, family and staff education regarding prevention of pressure ulcers and therapeutic support services.
• Collaborates with clinical staff, physicians and other members of the treatment team to provide the patient with the highest quality and most appropriate wound care.
• Certified Wound Care Nurse and Certified Ostomy Care Nurse-  If you are not yet certified, you must be willing to be certified within 3 months. :)
• Perform additional duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Must be licensed to practice as an RN.
• Knowledge of principals of infection control.
