Maximum Bill Rate: $105,000
Minimum Bill Rate: $95,000
Job Overview:
The ICU Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and staffing of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position ensures that high-quality, patient-centered care is provided, and holds staff accountable for clinical outcomes and adherence to established policies and procedures. The ICU Manager supports the facilitys objectives by fostering a culture of accountability, patient safety, and efficiency within the ICU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care to ensure standards of care are met.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and throughput to ensure patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and maintain a positive work environment.
- Manage staff scheduling and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
- Oversee operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of recent acute care leadership experience as a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager in Critical Care (relief charge experience does not qualify).
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Florida RN license.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
