- Salary Midpoint: $86,944.00 per year
Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.
What You Will Do:Supervise the collection of data for use in determining care plans, compliance with treatment norms and privacy standards.
- Direct, educate and monitor staff. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
- Ensure the accuracy of patient charts and medical data. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state and local standards and regulations for long-term care, such as those for certification, licensure and accreditation, Medicare, and state Medicaid.
- Participate in the CMS (Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services) survey process and plan of correction.
- Promote survey preparedness at all times. Supplies information to third parties.
- Train individuals to develop a comprehensive care plan for facility residents in coordination with the Minimum Data Set (MDS) that accurately addresses the needs of residents.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
required.
- Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience highly preferred
- Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Home experience preferred
- Have a drive to learn, be organized, able to meet deadlines, learn federal regulations, educate staff, and work with the entire team on process development.
