About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** Experience with EPIC EMR preferred **Job Description:** - Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. - Required to float to units with equal or lesser acuity as needed. - Engage in block scheduling on a case-by-case basis. - Follow parameters for requested time off (RTO) as determined. - Possess the ability to work with telemetry monitored centrally. - Work collaboratively with free-floating charge nurses, patient care technicians, patient transporters, and a house discharge nurse who supports all departments. - Participate in orientation modules on-site, with the required completion documented via transcripts. - Adhere to a 50-mile traveler radius rule. - Ensure personal attire compliance with any scrub color, excluding logos. Additional details include access to discounted meals and local discounted hotel accommodations. Orientation hours are conducted on-site, and modules for various roles are recorded for documentation purposes.
