About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 1.5 years in a level 1 or 2 facility preferred; Travel experience preferred **License:** Any state RN license accepted; temporary license application takes 5-10 days; compact license accepted **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Pass an online EKG tele-competency assessment before starting the assignment - Experience with EPIC system required - Ability to read and interpret strips **Job Description:** - Work in a 43-bed medical-surgical unit with a focus on post-general surgery patients - Care for stable cardiac telemetry patients - Participate in a team nursing model with RNs, LPNs, and PCTs as needed - First to float within designated specialty clusters - Support nursing care team in assigned unit, including high-risk respiratory and COVID units - Availability required for every other weekend/holiday - Required to be fitted for N95 masks prior to working in specified units unless PAPR is offered or needed - Wear navy blue scrubs - Requests for time off must be submitted initially; approvals are at the discretion of the Manager - Expected to complete lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing the contract - Submission of application must include start date and time off requests in the first page Candidates should prepare for a supportive and dynamic work environment aimed at improving workload management and patient care.
