About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** - 8-Hour Shift - 07:00-15:30 Day - 12-Hour Shifts, 36 hours/week - Days - Every other weekend - Rotating holidays **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience required. Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed. **License:** NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) **Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS preferred **Must-Have:** - Experience with post-surgical drains - Central line care/maintenance - Foley insertion - G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes - IV medication administration/IV push - Wound care - O2 therapy **Job Description:** - Work on a 27-bed medical-surgical unit caring for inpatients with a variety of medical conditions and post-operative situations. - Patient population primarily includes the elderly but can range as young as 18. - Common diagnoses include post-operative orthopedic, general surgery, alcohol withdrawal, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. - RN Patient Ratios: 5:1 - LNA Patient Ratios: 3:1 **Preferred Experience:** - Experience with Epic - Telemetry experience
