About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Med Surg **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience **License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS (strongly preferred), NIHSS **Must-Have:** - Willingness to float to the Kingsbury Unit (MS) - Epic experience - Personal vehicle for transportation (firm requirement) - Willingness to work two of the following: - Thanksgiving and weekend after - Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after - New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and weekend after **Job Description:** - Coordinate total nursing care for patients - Participate in patient and family teaching - Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel - Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in clinical settings - Care for adult to geriatric patient population - Adhere to dress code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos) - Complete de-escalation training from CPI, AVADE, or MOAB as of 1/1/2024 - Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified during the profile upload - Every other weekend and holiday rotation required - Familiarity with EMR: Epic - Covid vaccinations are strongly recommended, but not required - Block scheduling will not be accommodated For more information about the area and activities, you can explore the following links: - [Winter Fun Activities]() - [Monadnock Winter Activities]() - [Local Government Resources]() Note: This is a small community without public transport.
