About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Float/Inpatient Float **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours/week **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2+ years Med Surg experience **License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required **Certifications:** - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association **Must-Have:** - Willingness to float across Med Surg units - ICU experience considered advantageous - Completion of de-escalation training (CPI, AVADE, or MOAB) by onboarding date - Availability to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year, including the weekends following) **Job Description:** - Coordinate total nursing care for patients - Participate in patient and family teaching - Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel - Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting - Float between Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury units, with potential shifts assignments like 4 hours in Kingsbury and 8 hours in Farnum - Serve adult-geriatric patient population - Ensure compliance with dress code, using provided professional scrubs (no logos) - Utilize Epic for electronic medical records **Additional Requirements:** - Candidate must have their own vehicle - Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as required - Maximum of 5 days requested time off permitted, to be noted and verified upon application submission
