About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Float/Inpatient Float **Job Specialty:** Med Surg Float **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days and/or Nights, not consecutive) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2+ years of Med Surg experience **License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required **Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) **Must-Have:** - Willingness to float between units - ICU RN experience considered - Epic EMR experience - BSN - Own vehicle for transportation - De-escalation training certification (CPI, AVADE, or MOAB) **Job Description:** - Coordinate total nursing care for patients - Participate in patient and family teaching - Provide leadership and work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other team personnel - Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting - Facilitate care for adult-geriatric patient population - Work in multiple units during single shifts (e.g., 4 hours in one unit, 8 hours in another) - Comply with dress code: Professional scrubs with no logos - Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday requirements, including potential work during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays - Prepare to start with required de-escalation training completed before onboarding **Additional Notes:** - Be prepared to work at two of the following periods: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year's Eve/New Year Day and the weekend after - No more than 5 days off requested during the assignment will be permitted - Orientation hours are non-billable
