About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 11.5H Rotating (Night: 19:00-07:00 or Day: 07:00-19:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent equivalent experience required **License:** State RN License or Compact License (Proof of Residency Required) **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Experience with chest tubes and complex wound care - Proficiency in managing tubes and drips, including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone - Familiarity with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with tracheostomies or laryngectomies - Telemetry skills - Central Lines care and maintenance, including blood draws - Previous float experience is highly preferred **Job Description:** - MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) members will float between all MedSurg units as needed. - Coverage includes Emergency Department (ED) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) borders. - May include Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) responsibilities. - Float units include multiple designated areas within the facility. - Provide high-quality patient care and support interdisciplinary medical teams.
