About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 11.5H Rotating (19:00-07:00 or 07:00-19:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum years not specified **License:** Current RN license **Certifications:** BLS (Basic Life Support) required **Must-Have:** - Experience with chest tubes, tubes, and drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Knowledge in lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients - Proficiency in tracheostomies/laryngectomies care - Capability in telemetry monitoring - Experience with complex wound care - Competence in central line care and maintenance, including blood draws **Job Description:** - Provide care for patients with neuromuscular disorders and meningitis - Work in a primary stroke center, handling cases like TBI and spinal cord injury - Assist in surgical procedures such as tumor resections (brain and spine), spinal surgeries, and head/neck cancer operations - Participate in a Level IV Epilepsy center, dealing with implanted electrodes and scalp leads - Maintain high standards of patient care in a challenging and dynamic environment Note: The organization is known for its only Epilepsy Center in the region.
