**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care **Job Specialty:** Registered/Licensed Inpatient Nurse **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not Specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year required; Direct patient care experience preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License **Must-Have:** Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; excellent time management and critical thinking skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment. **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice and analytical skills. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, considering population-specific characteristics. - Partner with patients and their significant others, utilizing appropriate methods for setting and purpose. - Practice in accordance with current clinical standards. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with fiscal responsibility. - Participate and support performance improvement and shared governance activities. - Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for colleagues and students. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. - Proactively plan patient care across the continuum. - Support efficient use of human and material resources. - Comply with all policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
