About The Position
**Job Title:** RN - Acute Care Float - Days **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year required, direct patient care experience preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License **Must-Have:** - Ability to read, write, and speak the English language - Basic computer skills - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment - Strong time management and critical thinking skills **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice to ensure individualized care - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity - Partner with patients and significant others for care planning and updates - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting an inclusive clinical environment - Participate in performance improvement and shared governance activities - Complete all professional competency assessments and mandatory education - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce - Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research - Uphold health system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies - Participate in data collection and use resources and evidence to address practice questions - Plan care for patients across the continuum - Support efficient use of human and material resources - Perform other duties as assigned - Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct **Additional Notes:** Day shift 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays required
