About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Med/Surg **Job Duration:** Permanent Position **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Open to new graduates **License:** Active NH license or temp license (State compact licenses accepted) **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (AHA) **Must-Have:** - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Ability to read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations - Willingness to float between units **Job Description:** - Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift in accordance with established philosophy. - Ensure continuity of care across shifts and maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units. - Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. - Provide care to six patients with assistance from two Licensed Medical Assistants (LMA) on each floor. - Support and adhere to the ANA's standards for all nurses in all settings, and additional specialty standards for specialty nurses. - Engage in a robust 4-6 week orientation program before independent floor duties. - Participate in evaluations and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. **Benefits Offered:** - Medical Insurance with two options - Flexible Spending Accounts with three options - Dental Insurance with three options - Vision Insurance - Company-Paid Life Insurance (two times annual salary) - Optional Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Child - Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance - Accident and Critical Illness Insurance - Identity Theft Insurance - 403b Retirement Plan - Tuition reimbursement up to $4000 per fiscal year for full-time employees **Preferred Qualifications:** - BSN preferred - PALS Tele Strip Certification preferred Please note, all candidates must have a current skills checklist pertinent to their specialty and one supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment.
