About The Position
**Job Title:** Family Practice Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** RN - Family Practice **Job Duration:** 39 weeks **Shift:** Monday through Friday, 9-hour shifts including 1-hour unpaid lunch, not to exceed 40 hours per week **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** At least 24 months of experience in a primary care clinic setting within the last 48 months; Three years of nursing experience **License:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse **Certifications:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university, as recognized by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in computer operations and use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated medical records - Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats - Ability to synthesize data from various sources for clinical decision-making - Working knowledge of healthcare systems including health benefits **Job Description:** - Coordinate patient care with a wide array of healthcare professionals - Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness - Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in alignment with established policies, procedures, and guidelines - Provide care within ethical and legal boundaries - Perform physical exams and health histories - Deliver health promotions, counseling, and education to patients - Administer medications, wound care, and other interventions - Supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals - Make patient care assignments considering the scope of practice and skill level of personnel - Recognize and quickly respond to adverse signs and symptoms or emergency situations - Communicate effectively to educate patients and families - Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as needed - Conduct research to support improved practice and patient outcomes - Perform and assist with medical procedures and ensure proper documentation - Maintain cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment and ensure routine maintenance - Participate in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel - Promote a safe work environment and adhere to infection control policies and process improvement initiatives Please ensure that you meet all qualifications and requirements before applying.
