About The Position
**Job Title:** Level 2 Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Med/Surg RN **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 3x12.0 hours (Day/Evening/Night Rotating Schedule, Every Other Weekend, Holidays/On-Call/Callback as per Unit Needs) **Guaranteed Hours:** Per unit needs **Experience:** Minimum of two years required **License:** NY RN License required **Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) **Must-Have:** Telemetry Experience **Job Description:** - Provide competent care based on established standards through clinical practice. - Exhibit service excellence by maintaining a professional demeanor with patients, families, and co-workers. - Engage in professional development activities and stay current with evidence-based practices. - Take on expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member responsibilities, as required by the unit. - Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a rotating shift schedule and meet unit needs for weekends, holidays, on-call, and callbacks. - Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care aligns with organizational standards and goals.
