About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical - Inpatient Rehab **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Minimum 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year Rehab experience required; will consider first-time travelers with 2+ years of Rehab RN experience **License:** License in-hand or proof of application required (2-3 weeks via mail, 5-10 business days via email for processing) **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Experience with care tools and CMS IRF documentation - Willingness to float to similar units during low census needs - Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed - Black scrub color required - Epic charting experience - COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) **Job Description:** - Ideal candidate will have a Rehab background or be a Medical-Surgical nurse with strong Rehab skills. - Must be willing to float to similar units during periods of low census. - Patient diagnoses include Stroke, SCI, TBI, Amputee, debility, and multiple fractures. - Orientation provided for 14 hours. - Livescan fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signing the contract, with completion required in person the Monday before the start date. - Travel arrangements are the financial responsibility of the traveler. **Additional Information:** - Must complete required labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. - No locals; candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility. - Previous permanent staff must have a 9-month gap before returning as travelers. - Up to 7 days of Request for Time Off (RTO) allowed, all RTO must be submitted upon application.
