Job Summary: The Med/Surge Unit Supervisor provides oversight and direction for the Med/Surge (short-term Rehab) Unit on the evening shift ensuring quality patient care and staff accountability. This key position is responsible for the daily operations of the unit which operates similar to a hospital unit. It requires collaboration with other shift supervisors and a strong leader. The ideal candidate for the Med/Surge Unit Supervisor will have the ability to oversee patient care, supervise and develop team members and work with other departments. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.
