Summary:
Compassionate and skilled NICU nurse specializing in the care of critically ill newborns. Provides expert-level care to premature and full-term infants with serious medical conditions. Dedicated to supporting both the babies and their families through complex medical interventions, while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock care for newborns in critical condition, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and using specialized equipment.
- Assist in performing life-saving procedures such as intubation, ventilator management, and neonatal resuscitation.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and family members, offering guidance on caring for premature or ill infants.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and adherence to NICU protocols and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest NICU care advancements and neonatal care practices.
- 3yrs of experience as a RN
- 1+yrs of experience as NICU
- RN State License
- BLS / ACLS / PALS
Additional Notes:
- Travelers permanent address must be 50 miles from facility
- Pending License accepted: (Y/N): No
- RTO Restrictions: No
- Guaranteed Hours: Traveler can be called off 1x per pay period / 1x per 2 weeks.
- Remaining shifts guaranteed
