About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care preferred **License:** Current and valid state RN License **Certifications:** - Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) - Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) - NRP **Must-Have:** - NICU experience - Epic EMR experience preferred - COVID vaccination preferred **Job Description:** - Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. - Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. - Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, abnormal results, and symptomatology. - Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. - Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. - May need to float to units of competency.
