Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking an experienced, reliable and highly motivated RN Supervisor to join our dedicated team of professionals in Nursing-Clinical Operations on the Evening shift.

We are currently seeking a Full Time RN Supervisor to join our team here at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation.The Nursing Supervisor reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing and is responsible for the coordination and administration of nursing services during the Evening shift.
Key Tasks Include:
- Supervise delivery of clinical care and related services
- Monitor compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards and regulations
- Provide staff support as needed
- Evaluate and manage staffing needs
- Routinely audits required documentation
- Conduct investigations and inform management of complaints, concerns and occurrences
- Provide education on policies and procedures
- Participate in process improvement activities
- As requested, participate in planning and conducting in-service education programs,as needed
- Initiateprogressive disciplinary action,when indicated
- Conduct periodic performance appraisals
Required Qualifications:
- New York State RN license
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related area
- Previous experience as an RN in a subacute and/or long term care facility
- Previous experience as an RN supervisor
