Summary

*This is a temporary position to cover for a leave of absence.*

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for oncology patients following established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. This includes physiological, psychological, and developmental differences unique to each group. Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center.

REQUIREMENTS

• Required Associate's Degree

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree BSN accredited School of Nursing

• Less than 2 years Previous oncology experience preferred Required

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider

• OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse

• RN - Registered Nurse

• ONS - Chemo, Biotherapy Certification
