**Job Description:** - The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse is an active member of an interdisciplinary care team providing individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. - Practice is guided by professional models and core competencies, advocating for patient care and safety. - Engage in all aspects of the Nursing Process to deliver evidence-based and individualized clinical care. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care reflective of cultural diversity. - Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care using interdisciplinary communication methods. - Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and promote team recruitment and retention. - Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional practice and workforce development. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and healthcare system policies. - Actively engage in data collection and pose clinical questions to advance practice. - Plan for patient care across the continuum and support the development of best practice protocols. - Utilize resources efficiently and perform other duties as assigned while adhering to policies and standards.
