About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Operating Room **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3x11.50 Hr Shifts **Guaranteed Hours:** 37.50 Hours per Week **Experience:** - Minimum of two years of experience in the following areas: - Scrub and circulating - IV insertion and phlebotomy - Conscious sedation **License:** New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification **Certifications:** - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - IV/Phlebotomy experience - AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in cardiology - Experience as a phlebotomist **Job Description:** - Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room - Insert IVs and conduct phlebotomy efficiently - Administer conscious sedation as required - Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols - Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver quality patient care - Document all patient encounters and interventions accurately - Provide patient education and support pre- and post-operatively This opportunity is open to individuals who are fluent in English, with capabilities to read, write, and speak the language proficiently.
